The Finished Artwork

Each photograph is conceived and composed in-camera, without subsequent cropping or digital alteration.

The physical print and its presentation are considered integral to the artwork, realised through carefully selected materials and craftsmanship that respect the original photograph.

Archival Printing

All photographs are professionally produced using archival pigment printing.

Ilford Galerie Gold Fibre Gloss prints are produced by Image Science in North Melbourne, while Canson Infinity Baryta Prestige II prints are produced by Thirds Printing, a Canson-certified fine-art printing studio in Brunswick, Melbourne.

Each paper has been selected for its tonal characteristics, surface texture and ability to render the subtleties of light and shadow.

Canson Infinity Baryta Prestige II is used for 3:2 format photographs, while Ilford Galerie Gold Fibre Gloss is used for 4:3 format photographs, each selected to complement the characteristics of the original capture.

Bespoke Museum-Grade Framing

Each artwork is individually framed by Omnus Framing in Fitzroy, Melbourne.

Framing is an integral part of the artistic process. Frame proportions, cotton-rag mounts, subtle colour relationships and premium anti-reflective glazing are individually specified to complement each photograph.

The intention is a harmonious whole, where every element contributes to the presentation without competing with the image itself.

All framed artworks presented on this website are photographs of the actual finished pieces, professionally photographed by Colour Factory in Melbourne. No digital framing mockups are used.

Available Sizes

Photographs are offered in three presentation sizes:

Small — Approximately A3 image size.

Standard — Approximately 43 cm along the shortest image dimension.

Large — Approximately 73 cm along the shortest image dimension.

Small and Standard sizes are available across the collection, while Large is reserved for 3:2 format photographs.

Deference is presented exclusively as a Standard triptych, comprising three 43 × 57 cm photographs within a single 155 × 73 cm frame.

All works are supplied framed. Finished external dimensions vary according to each composition and are available upon enquiry.

Open Editions

All photographs are offered as open editions.

I believe the value of a photographic artwork resides in the work itself, its artistic integrity and the quality of its physical realisation, rather than an artificially imposed limit on reproduction.

The time, craftsmanship and expense required to produce each finished artwork naturally limit production, without the need for manufactured scarcity.

Authenticity & Provenance

Each finished artwork is accompanied by a handwritten Certificate of Authenticity and recorded chronologically in the Studio Ledger, providing a record of its production and provenance.
