Luke Peter Annett with Trust — Australian Photography Awards 2026

About the Artist

Luke Peter Annett is a photographer practising straight, uncropped photography. His intuitive practice explores how meaning emerges through relationships between light, form, space and the physical world. His photographs are made in-camera without subsequent cropping or digital alteration, deferring to the conditions, relationships and imperfections encountered in the moment. Influenced by Henri Cartier-Bresson and Max Dupain and informed by Christian faith, his work moves between formal, symbolic, living and spatial investigations.
